Compliance Verification Guide
To ensure maximum transparency and operate in full compliance with current regulations, every CDF product and its packaging displays all necessary information.
Below is a list to help you quickly check mandatory requirements, distinguishing between generic packaging, sales units, and products subject to CE marking.
A. On each type of packaging.
- Environmental labeling: Directions for separate collection.
- Business contact: E-mail address (e.g., contatti@cdfgroup.it).
B. On the sales unit or product intended for the public, it shall be clearly marked:
- Name: Commodity name (e.g., Chainsaw).
- Item Code: Type or model number (e.g., CDF04323).
• Manufacturer: Company Name or registered trademark. (EXCEL)
- Registered Office: Address of the Manufacturer and/or Distributor (based in the EU).
- Origin: country of production (mandatory if non-EU, always recommended).
- Materials: Identification of packaging materials (see Environmental Labeling).
- Energy Efficiency: Energy label (where required, e.g., light bulbs).
- Compliance: CE marking (only if the product is subject to the standard).
- Documentation: Italian language instructions (assembly, use and safety) included inside the package.
C. Specifications for products subject to CE Marking:
• Marking: The CE mark must appear on both the packaging and the product.
- Technical Data: Label with category-specific data (e.g., Watts for fans, displacement for chainsaws, performance indexes for gloves).
Note for Bulk Products:
For screws, bolts or small parts that are too small for individual labeling, the point of sale must display an information tag with all the data in items B and C.
